Welcome to Unique Skin & Body! By accessing or using our website (the “Site”) or services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions (the “Terms of Service”). Please review the following terms carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use this Site or our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our Site and/or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue your use of our Site immediately.
2. Services Provided
Unique Skin & Body provides a range of skin care services (the “Services”). Detailed descriptions of these services are available on our Site. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, any or all parts of our Services with or without notice.
3. Medical Disclaimer
The content on this Site is for informational purposes only and is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or another qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.
4. User Obligations
You agree not to use the Site or Services for any unlawful purpose or any purpose prohibited under this clause. You agree not to use the Site or Services in any way that could damage the Site or Services, or in a way that could interfere with any other party’s use and enjoyment of the Site or Services.
5. Appointments and Cancellations
A booking fee secures all appointments. Booking fees are applied per service adn may be charged at the time of booking or secured via card details on file.
Cancellations: 48 Hours or More Notice: No fee. Booking fees can be transferred to a future appointment.
Less than 48hrs notice but more than 4 hrs notice : A $40 booking fee will be payable.
Within 4 Hours/No Show: Your total booking fees paid or secured by card for the appointment or 100% of the full cost of the appointment booked, whichever is greater, will be payable. In the case of prepaid treatments such as packages, any prepaid treatments booked in that appointment will be forfeited.
If you are unable to attend, you may send someone else to take your appointment to avoid cancellation fees, provided the replacement appointment fits within the originally booked time and is equal in value to the original booking. Please inform us in advance. Outside of clinic hours, appointments must be managed via online booking or the reschedule link provided in your confirmation or reminder email.
As a courtesy, you'll receive a reminder email one week before your appointment and a reminder SMS 24 hours prior.
The card details you provide may be used to secure future bookings made in clinic instead of paying a booking fee upfront each time you rebook. In the event of a late cancellation/no show, any outstanding balances will be charged to your card. If a charge is declined, any outstanding fees must be paid before rebooking, and future appointments will require payment upfront.
6. Clinic Environment and Health
Child-free clinic
To maintain a calm and safe environment, our clinic is a child-free space. The clinic is not suitable for children and adequate supervision cannot be provided. If you arrive with children, we may need to reschedule your appointment, and our booking policy will apply. Thank you for your understanding!
Illness and health
If you are feeling unwell, please do not attend your appointment. Attending while knowingly unwell is not appropriate in a sole-operator clinic and may place others at risk.
Cancellation policies apply regardless of the reason for cancellation, including illness. Clients who attend appointments while unwell may be refused treatment and cancellation fees will still apply.
By booking with us, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
7. Payments and Refunds
Payments for services can be made through our Site or in person at the clinic. All payments are due at the time of service unless otherwise specified. Refunds are only provided in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us to discuss your options.
8. Zip Pay Disclaimer
Minimum monthly repayments are required. A monthly account fee of $9.95 applies and is subject to change. Pay your closing balance in full by the due date each month, and we'll waive the fee. Available to approved applicants only and subject to completion of a satisfactory credit assessment. Other charges may be payable. Fees and charges are subject to change. T&Cs apply. 10. Intellectual Property Rights
All content on the Site, including but not limited to text, images, logos, and graphics, is the intellectual property of Unique Skin & Body or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any of the content without our express written permission.
11. Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
12. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Unique Skin & Body. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unique Skin & Body shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the Site or Services. However, nothing in these terms is intended to limit or exclude liability for any guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Unique Skin & Body, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any and all claims, demands, damages, or other losses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, resulting from your use of the Site or Services or your breach of these Terms of Service.
15. Governing Law
These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria and the Commonwealth of Australia.
16. Changes to Terms of Service
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Service.
