Cryopen (Lesion Removal)

Pigment requires a letter of clearance to treat from your Doctor. We have prepared a letter of introduction that can be sent to you upon request, to take with you to your Doctor.

Skin care may be required in some circumstances, especially if treating pigment.

Refrain from using Retinol for 3 days prior to treatment.

Post care requires the application of medi soothe to soothe and repair the area, and in some circumstances, such as pigmentation, home care to prevent pigmentation will be required.

A consultation is required before treatment and is redeemable against your first session. A doctor’s letter of clearance is necessary to confirm that lesions are benign and suitable for treatment, particularly for pigmented lesions. In our clinic, we can effectively treat pigmented spots, solar lentigo, skin tags, hemangiomas, seborrheic keratosis, and sebaceous hyperplasia.

Cryotherapy should not be used for:

• Undiagnosed skin lesions

• Melanoma

• Dark-skinned patients

• Lesions which require tissue pathology

• Lesions within a circulation-compromised area

• Patients with previous adverse reactions to cryotherapy or unable to accept side effects

• Young children

• Conditions exacerbated by cold exposure:

  • Raynaud disease

  • Cold urticaria

  • Cryoglobulinaemia

  • Multiple myeloma.
