Each person will be different as various factors will come into play, however, the following provides a general guide:

Mild laxity: single session, repeated every 6-12 months

Moderate laxity: 1-2 sessions, spaced 3 months apart with maintenance every 6 - 12 months

Severe laxity: Multiple sessions, combined with other therapies such as Microneedling, RF, Laser and IPL.

Important: HIFU treatment may not be suitable for you if you have any of the following conditions:

• Pregnancy or breastfeeding

• History of cancer, seizures, or keloid formation

• Hemorrhagic disorders or diabetes

• Autoimmune diseases or heart issues (including pacemaker use)

• Active infections or immunosuppression

• Medications that cause photosensitivity or blood-thinning medications

• Dermal or metal implants in the treatment area

How Fat is Naturally Removed from the Body by 9D HIFU

The 9D HIFU uses macro-focused depth cartridges to target and break down fat cell membranes, which are primarily composed of triglycerides. Once damaged, these fat cells are transported through the vascular and lymphatic systems to the liver. The liver processes the fat in the same way it would handle fat from food consumption, utilising the body's natural metabolism to eliminate it.

Are There Any Side Effects?

While optimal results for facial lifting, tightening, and body contouring typically appear within 3 months post-treatment, some patients may experience mild redness or swelling in the treated areas, which usually resolves within a few hours. Temporary bruising may also occur, gradually fading within 2 to 4 weeks.

Is There Any Pain During Treatment?

How Long Do the Results Last?

Patients may see immediate results, with continued improvement over the next 90 days post-treatment. These results can typically be maintained for several months to up to a year, depending on individual factors and lifestyle.

Pre Treatment

• Be well hydrated (client needs to consume 1 ltr of water prior to treatment)

• Gently exfoliate the skin 48 hours prior to treatment

• Discontinue use of Vitamin A, BHA, AHA products 72 hours prior to treatment area

• Use of zinc physical sunblock prior to the treatment must be adhered to

• Remove ALL fake tan and avoid it's use in the weeks prior to treatment

2 Weeks Before:

• Limit sun exposure and tanning.

• Discontinue products with active ingredients (such as Retin A, Vitamin C, AHAs/BHAs).

• Avoid antibiotics.

4 Weeks Before:

• Refrain from Botox/filler in the treatment area.

• Avoid microdermabrasion, laser treatments, and chemical peels.

6 Weeks Before:

• Do not use medications for acne or skin thinning (e.g., Isotretinoin, Accutane).

• Avoid laser resurfacing procedures.

12 Months Before:

• Steer clear of facial thread lift surgery.

There is no downtime following a HIFU treatment, allowing you to return to work or resume most of your usual activities immediately. However, you may experience some temporary discomfort in the treated areas. It is common for the skin to feel warm, tingly, dry, or tight. Mild redness, flushing, slight bruising, or swelling may also occur. These effects typically resolve on their own within a few hours to a few days. Proper aftercare is essential to reduce any discomfort and enhance the results of the treatment.

• Stay well hydrated over the next 5 days

• Avoid alcohol 48hr post treatment

• Avoid sun exposure for 72 hours after treatment

• Use of zinc physical sunblock is mandatory after the treatment

• Use of mineral make-up after the treatment is to be used

• Avoid excessive heat, swimming, sauna, hot showers, and exercise for 48 hours

1. Notify Us of Changes: Inform us if there have been any changes in your physical condition or if you’ve developed symptoms that may affect your ability to receive HIFU treatment.

2. No Makeup or Jewellery: Do not wear makeup to your session. Remove any jewellery from the areas being treated.

3. Stay Hydrated: Drink 1 litre of water before your session to ensure optimal hydration.

4. Avoid Strenuous Plans: Do not schedule exercise or outdoor activities on the day of your treatment.
