Unique Skin & Body began in January 2013, originally as a boutique day spa and B&B. What started as a peaceful retreat has since evolved into an award-winning skin clinic—a place where advanced skin treatments, deep understanding, and personalised care come together.
While the treatments have changed, the heart of the business has stayed the same: to help you feel confident, supported, and truly seen. We believe that great skin is about more than just products or quick fixes—it’s about listening, educating, and working with you to create real, lasting change.

Meet the Founder
Driven by a genuine passion for skin health, Domenica Ciappara is dedicated to helping clients achieve real, lasting results. With a deep understanding of the skin’s complexities, she takes a personalised approach to each client’s journey—treating not just the skin, but the person behind it. Her care is built on compassion, attentiveness, and a commitment to education that ensures every client feels heard, supported, and empowered.
Domenica holds a Diploma of Beauty Therapy, a Graduate Diploma of Dermal Therapies, an Advanced Diploma of Cosmetic Dermal Science, and a Graduate Certificate in Intense Pulsed Light and Laser Hair Reduction. She is also a certified IPL/Laser Safety Officer and holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
In addition to these qualifications, Domenica has completed extensive advanced training across skin needling, laser therapies, cosmetic tattoo removal, skin analysis, and corneotherapeutic skincare. Her special interests include supporting women through perimenopause and menopause, body contouring techniques, and the safe and effective removal of unwanted tattoos. After recently attending a leading Menopause Symposium, she continues to expand her knowledge in this space—helping women thrive through hormonal transitions with skin and body treatments tailored to their changing needs.
Domenica actively invests in ongoing education, mentorships, and hands-on training to remain at the forefront of skin science and innovation. Every treatment offered at Unique Skin & Body reflects her expertise, sincerity, and a heartfelt commitment to helping each client feel confident in their skin.
