1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our Site and/or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue your use of our Site immediately.

2. Services Provided

Unique Skin & Body provides a range of skin care services (the “Services”). Detailed descriptions of these services are available on our Site. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, any or all parts of our Services with or without notice.

3. Medical Disclaimer

The content on this Site is for informational purposes only and is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or another qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.

4. User Obligations

You agree not to use the Site or Services for any unlawful purpose or any purpose prohibited under this clause. You agree not to use the Site or Services in any way that could damage the Site or Services, or in a way that could interfere with any other party’s use and enjoyment of the Site or Services.

5. Appointments and Cancellations

To confirm your booking, a non-refundable $40 deposit is required. This deposit will be applied toward your service or can be transferred to a future appointment with 48 hours' notice. Cancellations or changes made within 48 hours will result in forfeiture of the deposit. No-shows or cancellations within 3 hours of your appointment will incur a fee equal to 100% of the service cost. Late arrivals or changes at the time of the appointment that limit service completion will also result in the full fee being charged.

IMPORTANT: When rescheduling online, please either select a new time for your existing booking or cancel it. Adding yourself to the waitlist does not cancel your current appointment. You may join the waitlist for a preferred time only after rescheduling or canceling your appointment.

 

The card details you provide may be used to secure your future appointments rather than paying a deposit each time you rebook. In the even of a late cancellation/no show, any outstanding balances will be charged to your card. If your card declines at any point for a charge, such as a late cancellation, all future bookings will require payment upfront.

 

We genuinely appreciate creating a tranquil environment for all our guests. In this spirit, we wanted to gently remind you that our clinic is a child-free space. Unfortunately, it is not a safe environment for children, and there won’t be adequate supervision. If you arrive with children, we may need to reschedule your appointment, and our booking policy will still apply. Thank you for your understanding!

 

If you feel unwell and might pass your illness on to our therapists or other clients, we kindly ask that you reschedule your appointment. We completely understand the desire to keep your appointment—especially if it falls within the 48-hour cancellation window and may incur a fee. However, our top priorities are the health of our staff and our clients' well-being. Please contact us early to reschedule if you are unwell. We truly appreciate your understanding and thoughtfulness regarding the health of everyone in our clinic. Thank you for your cooperation!

6. Payments and Refunds

Payments for services can be made through our Site or in person at the clinic. All payments are due at the time of service unless otherwise specified. Refunds are only provided in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us to discuss your options.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the Site, including but not limited to text, images, logos, and graphics, is the intellectual property of Unique Skin & Body or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any of the content without our express written permission.

8. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

9. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Unique Skin & Body. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unique Skin & Body shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the Site or Services. However, nothing in these terms is intended to limit or exclude liability for any guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

You agree to indemnify and hold Unique Skin & Body, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any and all claims, demands, damages, or other losses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, resulting from your use of the Site or Services or your breach of these Terms of Service.

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria and the Commonwealth of Australia.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Service.
